Tournament Day Information

  • Friday, June 3rd, 2016 open from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
  • Saturday, June 4th, 2016, opens at 7:15 am at the field location you play at. 
  • Severe Weather Date: Sunday, June 5th, 2016 opens at 7:00 am

We are offering an early check in option on Friday night, June 3rd, 2016.  We realize that not every team will be able to take advantage of this early check in option but we hope that those checking in on Saturday morning will not have to experience long lines because of the early check option.

A few items to keep in mind:

All teams must check in no later than 45 minutes before your first game.  The registration tables at all location will be open at 7:15am with plenty of staffing on the day of the tournament.  Priority check in will be given to those teams with 8:00am games.

Check in procedure: Only the coach or the team manager needs to check in for the team.  Players do not need to be present at check in.  You will need to bring the following items to check in:

  • Player passes (all players must have a valid, laminated MYSA player pass)
  • Coaches passes (all coaches must have a valid, laminated MYSA player pass)
  • Valid team roster (MYSA Competitive Match Report) You must bring a clean copy with you. Rosters will be frozen at check in.  No player may be rostered on more than one team.
  • Medical release for each player (may use your own club's form or MYSA form.  It does NOT need to be notarized.)

LUFC recommends that each team have their roster arranged in alphabetical order, as well as player passes and medical release forms to speed up the check-in process.

Each team must present their completed rosters, complete check-in and have paid their entry fee in full prior to playing their first game.

We are excited to offer a Penalty Shoot Out Competition for the U11 and U12  teams!  The winning team in each age group will receive an award.

We will also have game areas, and concessions at all locations.  Feel free to bring a team tent to cool off or stay dry, there will be plenty of room to set one up!

Weather issues - we will suspend tournament play at the sign of lightning.  If this happens, the tournament director will communicate the suspensions to all field marshals via cell phone.  Depending on when the suspended play begins, games will be shortened to make up time, or if necessary, rescheduled to Sunday, the 1st (only under extreme circumstances).

Directions:

U11/U12: North Branch Middle School:  38431 Lincoln Trail, North Branch, MN 55056

Directions: From the split of I 35W & I35 E near Forest Lake, continue north 16 miles to Hwy 95/North Branch exit. Go East on Hwy 95 to first stop sign (Grand Ave) Take a right on Grand and go to Education Center parking lot on the left. Take a left into the first parking lot (north side of school). Use walking path to walk to field.
