1st Night "Chaos" - The first night is always interesting! Everyone is excited and many families have no idea where they are going. Don't stress it, have fun and be excited to get the Rec Soccer season going!
Uniforms - Are handed out the first night, which adds to the above chaos, but this is the only way we can get the majority of players uniforms out as so many register late. Ask a parent to help manage this. Uniform sizes were chosen by the families (parents/guardians) and are unable to accommodate changes, unless there's a significant issue of sizing.

As part of our developmental program and style of play, we utilize a numbering system in lieu of common names". We suggest using the numbering system for ages 3rd/4th grade and older. You certainly DO NOT HAVE TO, but it would be awesome if you did!

ARRIVAL
Try to arrive well before your players if you have that ability. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your start time so can get situated with equipment. Some setup help may be needed at the beginning of the night.
END OF NIGHT
Please remind players and families to make sure they police their area. We want to make sure we leaving our fields nice and clean.
If you need to leave any equipment behind make sure you place it in the Coaches Storage container and your equipment is marked. Your help in taking down the nets is appreciated!
FUN is the name of the game! The single most important thing we can do is make sure as many kids are having fun! If you feel you need to adjust anything during a given night do so if it means kids will enjoy the evening.
COMPETITIVE - Rec Soccer is NOT competitive soccer. It's a laid back fun atmosphere to play soccer and learn basic skills. If you have families that want more than Rec, please send them our way and we can provide the competitive side with our Competitive Programming.
KEEP THEM MOVING! - Always keep the players moving. This goes for all ages. The less lines the better! get as many involved as possible at all times.
WEATHER - Will play a role in attentiveness and general willingness to play/do work. Understand that depending on the age the kids will definitely "check out" mentally.
PreK/K - This age group will struggle to get 60 minutes in. Keep training to 20/25 minutes and take a break before playing your game. You may not get much past 45-50 minutes of total time any given Thursday and that's okay!
WEATHER & OTHER CANCELLATION POLICIES
Any cancellation for those reasons below will be made NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM on the day of play via Team Snap & email. Please do not assume play will be cancelled. A determination will not be made until the Club or Rec Coordinator is confident in making the call to cancel.

- Extreme cold temperatures, especially with even light rain will likely warrant a cancellation (judgement of the coordinator)
- Severe weather such as lighting, tornado watches/warnings, hail, etc will warrant a cancellation of activities

HOT WEATHER - At our scheduled time of play
- Heat Index < 89 degrees = Normal Play
- Heat Index 90-99 degrees = Mandatory 2-minute water breaks (consider shortening game times)

TeamSnap is the single most important tool for team and/or program specific communications. This Rec Page can be utilized as resource material, but TeamSnap is used for communicating, posting schedules (in May), as well as chat functions for members of teams & the Club. ALL MEMBERS at ALL LEVELS/PROGRAMMING must have TeamSnap on their mobile device to access schedules and receive team/program communications through the TeamSnap app. Here are some helpful links for you and common questions/needs for many of our members:
